Who am I

My name is Minh Châu Ha. I’m from a hometown, Vũng Tàu, located on the East coast of South Vietnam.

In 2019, I moved to Denmark. I am grateful to have the opportunity to settle my family down on this land and learn more about the Danish culture and people. Integrating is one of the significant parts of the process, and I am finding joy in this new journey every step of the way!

My story

Being born and raised in Vietnam, I am proud of our nation’s abundant culinary art. In Vietnamese culture, cooking and eating are not just about sustenance, they are essential parts of daily life. Food is intricately related to our religious practices, our festive celebrations, and our pursuit of a balanced and harmonious life.

On the one hand, I am happy with life in Denmark. On the other hand, I feel a part of my identity is missing; the warmth and comfort that comes with the ‘cosiness’ of Vietnamese dining, especially when friends and family come over to dine together.

That has become my biggest motivation to open Mini Kitchen. While integrating into Danish society, I can blend in with a part of our culture and create a community where you can enjoy and experience exotic food.

Our Mission
